Conduct construction document reviews as required Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design, and construction phases of engineering projects Prepare and review calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to:
Seismic and wind analyses Foundation design Structural framing analyses and design Bracing analyses and design
Experience in renovating/modifying existing facilities is required Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required Basic Job Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 10 years experience (nuclear preferred) in:
Design Estimating Specification preparation Construction document preparation Related phases of engineering Field inspection of construction projects
Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred, but not required _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Structural Engineers (Jr.) Responsibilities:
