Job Title: Associate UX Designer Job Location: Acton, MA (Hybrid) Job Duration: 6 Months Position Overview: Digital Customer Experience (DCX) team is responsible for designing and delivering seamless, human-centered experiences across a broad and complex digital ecosystem. This includes platforms and tools that support a wide range of customers—from caregivers and healthcare providers to internal teams such as sales, support, training, and customer success. We're looking for an Associate UX Designer who is eager to grow their skills and contribute to meaningful digital experiences. In this role, you'll support senior designers and cross-functional teams in creating intuitive, inclusive, and impactful solutions. You'll gain hands-on experience across the UX process—from research and ideation to design and delivery—while learning how to apply best practices in accessibility, usability, and responsive design. Responsibilities: Support the design of web-based and cross-platform digital experiences by contributing to user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Collaborate with senior designers, product managers, and engineers to translate requirements into thoughtful design solutions. Participate in user research and usability testing activities, helping to synthesize findings and apply insights to design work. Learn and apply accessibility and usability best practices to ensure inclusive and user-friendly experiences. Assist in maintaining and evolving ***'s design system by contributing to components and documentation. Use tools like Figma, Miro, and Confluence to create and share design work. Participate in design critiques and team rituals, receiving and incorporating feedback to improve your craft. Help document design decisions and support design QA during development cycles. Skills & Characteristics: Strong interest in user-centered design and a desire to grow as a UX professional. Good visual and interaction design instincts with attention to detail. Effective communicator who is open to feedback and eager to learn. Collaborative team player who enjoys working with others to solve problems. Curious, proactive, and comfortable asking questions to gain clarity. Organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as HCI, Design, Psychology, or equivalent experience. 0–2 years of experience in UX or product design (internships or academic projects welcome). Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar. Exposure to user research methods and usability principles. Portfolio (or work samples) demonstrating design thinking, creativity, and attention to user needs. Interest in designing for web and mobile platforms; experience in healthcare or regulated industries is a plus. Willingness to work in a hybrid environment with on-site collaboration in Acton, MA.
