Future Opening: Front Counter Person Hardware Store

Farmland Hardware's front counter is the first and last impression. Your job is simple: help customers quickly, accurately, and respectfullyespecially during rushesso they leave feeling helped and respected.

What you'll do

• Greet and acknowledge every customer fasteven when it's busy
• Run checkout quickly during peak times and keep the line moving
• Call for backup early when the line starts building
• Ring items accurately the first time (scanning, money handling, receipts)
• Follow store rules for pricing, discounts, returns, and refunds
• Ask the Head Cashier/Lead when unsuredon't guess
• Keep a professional attitude that matches our Mission, Vision, and Values

What you need

• Strong people skills and clear communication
• Fast and accurate attention to detail
• Calm under pressure during rushes
• Comfortable learning basic POS/computer tasks

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
