Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in product management, marketing, management consulting, or project management in technology. Experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives. Experience working with product management or engineering teams, executive leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders. Preferred qualifications: Experience partnering with clients on technical products (e.g., pitching solutions, consulting, project management, implementation, demonstrating products, or technical sales). Experience managing complex projects with stakeholders across multiple functions. Ability to structure a compelling storyline and build presentation decks/documents to support their position. Strategic thinking and problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both practitioner and exec-level contexts. Strong project management skills. About the job The role of Product and Services Activation is to drive the commercialization strategy for Google's ads business and help shape the product roadmap to meet the specific requirements of our diverse group of advertisers. Our focus is to grow customers by launching new products to market, empowering our sales teams with impactful resources, and channeling customer feedback to the product development team. The Diversification team sits within GCS Product & Sales Activation (PSA), responsible for creating and scaling solutions for EMEA SMBs. We are the product and business experts supporting thousands of GCS Googlers, leaders and advertisers across EMEA. Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sales teams are trusted advisors and competitive sellers who maintain a relentless focus on customer success by bringing the best Google has to offer to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which are the backbone of our communities. Responsibilities Help realize our go-to-market activation strategies for diversification to drive customer growth. Advocate for YouTube & DemandGen products internally and externally as well as gauge their standing in the competitive social market. Educate Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sellers through at-scale trainings, workshops and partnership with sales leadership. Work cross-functionally and regionally (including global PSA, RSO, Marketing, Finance, and gTech) to develop new opportunities to increase product adoption. Identify roadblocks in seller workflow and collaborate with global PSA and partner organizations (e.g. RSO) to solve these challenges and help sellers pitch more effectively.
