Location: Ogden, Utah

Reports To: President/General Manager

Compensation Range: Competitive rate plus monthly bonus program

Degree Requirements: High School Diploma or above

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder and able to work for any U.S. Employer

Experience Level: Five Years

Quality Experience: Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kazan, or 5S or similar quality programs would be a solid plus

Must Have:

1) Learn and grow the network of our clients' customers, suppliers, and related interrelationships:

  • Get to know our customers their style, expectations, and business opportunities.
  • Get to know our core customer industries: Aerospace, Space, Defense, Battery Tech, Pressure Pumping (Upstream Oil and Gas).
  • Industry specs
  • Governing bodies
  • Contracting processes
  • Web portals - communication protocols
  • Vernacular
  • Industry trends, threats, and opportunities
  • Get to know our supply base and go to sources for key materials and processing.

2) Manage select customer accounts:

  • Be the voice of the customer within LeanWerks
  • Manage the flow of information between LeanWerks and the customer
  • Collaborate with customers on existing and new work:
    • Provide technical guidance for issue resolution
    • Develop quotes and cost/price models based on well-conceived manufacturing processes
    • Negotiate contracts and purchase orders
    • Customer web portals - communication protocols

3) Provide project management and oversight on select critical new projects:

  • Define the deliverables and their timetable
  • Work with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and production control groups to collaboratively develop a plan for execution.
  • Ensure contract requirements are understood and adequately addressed by our plan.
  • Develop the materials and outside processing options. Work with production control on the execution of purchasing and outside process management.
  • Provide regular oversight and accountability to engineering, quality, production control, and manufacturing.

4) Quote preparation:

  • Prepare quotes with accurate costing, well developed routing, and integrated planning collaboratively with our engineering, quality, manufacturing, and production control groups.
  • Present quotes for review to sales and executive management.
