The associate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of deli and bakery items, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, and ensuring that all products meet our quality standards. This role involves working closely with customers to fulfill their orders, handle transactions, and offer product recommendations./ppKey responsibilities include:/pulliProvide outstanding customer service./liliAnswers phones and takes phone orders correctly./liliAssist customers at both bakery and deli service counters./liliKeep counters, glass, cases, and work areas clean and neat./liliMaintains excellent personal hygiene habits./liliStocks sales floor area, deli bakery cases, and supply areas./liliPuts away keeps supplies and products stored neatly in proper place when deliveries come in./liliFollows all safety and security procedures./liliSlices and weighs meats and cheeses to customers satisfaction./liliMay operate small kitchen appliances, ovens, proofers, warmers, and fryers./liliTakes out trash and disposes of cardboard./liliPerforms daily cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping./liliOpens and closes department without supervision./liliMay assist on front-end with cashier and carryout duties as needed./liliAny other responsibilities as assigned by manager./li/ulpWork environment includes:/pulliMay be exposed to all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, ice and wind) as well as, inside work with variations in heat, cold, dust, and humidity./liliMust be able to work around ovens and cooking areas as well as in freezers and walk-in coolers./liliFast paced retail environment with work primarily in deli/bakery kitchen./li/ulpPhysical requirements include:/pulliFrequently moves, lifts, and carries merchandise and supplies weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance. Occasionally moves, lifts, and carries merchandise and supplies weighing less than or equal to 60 pounds./liliOccasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling, bending, stooping, crouching, and twisting with or without bearing weight. Occasionally required to climb and/or crawl./liliStands or walks continuously throughout the shift./li/ulpQualifications other job requirements:/pulliPrevious experience in a retail or grocery environment preferred, but not required./liliAbility to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed./liliMinimum age requirement = 16 years old./li/ul/div
