Produce electrical designs for complex, multi-discipline projects across federal/military, commercial, civic, education, and industrial sectors — from concept through construction documents Design building and site electrical systems including power distribution, photovoltaic, energy storage, and lighting Design and develop electrical systems using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD Perform load calculations, circuiting, and short-circuit analysis using industry-standard software Prepare and review project specifications to ensure compliance with applicable codes and industry standards Ensure compliance with California energy codes (Title 24) and other applicable regulations Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality, well-coordinated solutions Maintain open communication with project stakeholders and contribute to a collaborative team environment What We're Looking For
Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field Minimum of 2 years of electrical engineering experience in the MEP industry Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu Proficiency in ComCheck, EnergyPro, or similar energy code compliance tools Experience with lighting calculation software such as AGi32 or Visual Experience developing and reviewing project specifications Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Preferred / A Plus: Knowledge of or experience with SKM or ETAP (power system analysis, load calculations, short-circuit analysis, arc flash studies) Familiarity with federal and military project requirements including UFCs and UFGS Experience on projects in federal/military, civic, or institutional sectors Compensation
Salary for this position ranges from
$80,000 to $130,000 , commensurate with the experience, qualifications, and demonstrated capability of each individual applicant. We are committed to compensating our team fairly and competitively relative to the value they bring. Schedule & Location
Primary Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Location: San Diego, CA — primarily in-office. Flexible-Hybrid work schedule available after the introductory period for candidates who have established their workflow. How to Apply
