Purpose of the role:The role of the Operations & Transformation Lead is to In conjunction with the Director of Lean Transformation and the Chief Operations Officer : Be accountable and responsible for the operational running of OPD services for St. Jamess Hospital, the South Dublin Surgical (SDSH) and other offsite locations as required. Oversee the transformation and improvement of OPD services based on the principles of Lean Transformation and ensure that work practices are aligned the strategic vision for the hospital Ensure Lean methodology is applied to the development and implementation of all nominated work streams, working with stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve effectiveness, productivity and efficiency. Have responsibility for effective planning, delivery and evaluation and will drive and support business and cultural changes.
