HR Manager Position Overview A growing international manufacturing and engineering organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and support a broad range of HR initiatives at a rapidly expanding site. This role is responsible for delivering strategic and operational HR support across recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, performance management, compliance, and organizational culture. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and global HR teams to implement people-focused initiatives, support workforce growth, and help foster a high-performing and safety-conscious environment. The position also includes responsibility for HR systems administration and oversight of one direct report. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the full recruitment lifecycle, from workforce planning and approvals through onboarding and induction, supporting significant site growth initiatives. Manage and maintain on-site HR policies, procedures, systems, and administrative processes. Collaborate with leadership and global HR partners to implement HR strategies and best practices. Support employee benefits administration and contribute to ongoing benefits development initiatives. Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation, workplace policies, and HR governance standards. Partner with Learning & Development teams to support training initiatives, employee development programs, and long-term capability planning. Contribute to building and maintaining a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven workplace culture. Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations matters and workplace concerns. Support Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives as required to maintain compliance and reinforce a strong safety culture. Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across HR and operational processes. Carry out additional duties and projects as required. Candidate Profile Minimum 6 years experience in Human Resources, including at least 2 years in a leadership-level HR role such as HR Manager or HR Business Partner. Experience managing or mentoring team members. Strong employee relations and industrial relations background. Manufacturing or industrial sector experience preferred. Solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems; experience with cloud-based HR platforms is advantageous. Exposure to Continuous Improvement methodologies desirable.
