We are seeking a Commercial Sales Representative to develop and maintain relationships with Commercial Roofing Contractors, provide product and system expertise, and drive sales growth within an assigned territory.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with Commercial Roofing Contractors, consultants, and related industry professionals
- Generate sales opportunities for commercial roofing systems, insulation, accessories, sheet metal products, and related services
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate roofing products and system solutions
- Stay informed on market conditions, competitive activity, manufacturer programs, and industry trends
- Prepare quotes, manage pricing discussions, process orders, and coordinate deliveries to meet project schedules
- Work closely with branch operations, vendor representatives, and internal support teams to ensure excellent customer service
- Assist customers with product information, technical support coordination, and manufacturer resources as needed
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and strengthen long-term business relationships
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and pipeline management within company systems
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or account management; commercial roofing or construction industry experience preferred
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and customer requests in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
- Ability to quickly learn internal systems, roofing products, and manufacturer programs
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory as needed
