Now Hiring: General Manager – Daylene’s Supper Club In this role, you’ll oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives on a day-to-day basis in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation of the restaurant’s dining room, public area, kitchen area, and grounds. You might even add to the amenities of the Kalahari Resort by doing something as simple as selling a “Smores Kit” to guests! – Starting at $70,000 per/year based on prior experience. What You’ll Do: Operational Leadership & Efficiency – Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service, adherence to policies, food safety, and guest satisfaction. Team Management & Development – Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate staff while fostering a positive workplace culture that drives performance and retention. Financial Performance & Compliance – Manage budgets, control costs (labor, inventory, food & beverage), analyze P&L statements, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards. What We’re Looking For: Five years’ experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager, preferably in a supper club, steak house or high-end setting. Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing with guests, management, co-workers, and stakeholders. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
