Pay Range: $20 - $24 per hour based on experience
Schedule:
M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm, weekends not required.

What You Bring (Requirements)

  1. A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  2. Registered or certified as a nursing assistant.
  3. Completion of a state approved training program in medication administration with certificate received (QMAP).
  4. Minimum of one year experience working with the frail or elderly population required. 

What You’ll Be Responsible For

The Trained Medication Assistant (TMA) is to maintain our pharmacy database with up-to-date and accurate information. Responsibilities include ordering, receiving, storage, distribution and discontinuation of participant’s medications and maintaining all required documentation for medication and treatment administration.

  • Administration of medications and treatments as delegated by a licensed nurse.
  • ADL assistance to residents as assigned and observation of the resident’s general status.
  • Documentation: Accurate documentation of medications and treatments administered and performed according to all facility policy and procedures.

Senior Community Care of Colorado PACE (Montrose) provides healthcare and supportive services for individuals age 55 and older, helping them live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes and communities. As a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) provider and the first of its kind in Western Colorado, our interdisciplinary teams deliver personalized, comprehensive care tailored to each participant’s needs.  Located in beautiful Montrose, the community is surrounded by stunning Colorado scenery, including the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park to the east and the San Juan Mountains to the south, with easy access to a charming downtown, local dining, and year-round outdoor recreation.
