Standard Business Hours This key role within our Environmental Editorial team is an opportunity for a practitioner in the Environmental industry to apply and share their knowledge with others. In this role, you will develop new content and/or update existing content within stock products (online and print) and custom projects, as well as provide expertise for both internal and external customers. This position will also serve as a subject matter resource for other individuals and departments in the company and for external customers/clients/business partners. At J. J. Researches, writes, reviews and/or edits material for guides/manuals, handbooks, newsletters and online services. Provides regulatory knowledge, product knowledge and training support to external customers via phone, e-mail, or video call. Suggests new products/services and revisions of existing products/services. Actively seeks to stay current with trends and specific developments in assigned subject areas in order to facilitate the above responsibilities. Prepares and delivers webinars and presentations virtually and in-person at customer-facing or industry events. Writes outside articles for trade publications, white papers, etc. to support Marketing efforts and to demonstrate the company’s expertise. Researches, develops, and reviews material for unique or custom projects to internal business lines. Provides industry and product knowledge and support to internal customers (e.g., Innovation, Sales, Marketing, Consulting, Managed Services, etc.) Qualifications
Education High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, two years of additional related experience may be considered.
Experience 5+ years of industry experience in environmental compliance
In lieu of 5+ years of environmental industry experience, 3+ years when coupled with an advanced degree in environmental science or related field may be considered.
Experience developing content in a manner that makes highly complex material easily understandable. Experience developing and delivering in-person and remote presentations or educational/training programs. Computer Skills Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite Other Requirements Working knowledge of federal EPA and/or state environmental regulations, with a strong ability to identify key regulatory changes and trends that affect environmental safety managers. Specific knowledge of environmental compliance programs (e.g., waste, water programs, air programs, chemical management etc.) preferred. Strong research, writing and oral communication skills. Ability to research, analyze and interpret information from a variety of sources. Ability to plan projects and meet deadlines, working both independently and in a team environment. Presentation skills, both in-person and web-based Physical Requirements
Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Keller provides a competitive benefit package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply): Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan, etc. The compensation range for this role is $31.00 to $35.00 which varies depending on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s overall experience and geographic location.
