Our client is an established precision engineering company based in Leicester, providing high-quality subcontract machining and manufacturing services to a wide range of industries.
As part of our continued growth, we are looking to recruit an ambitious and results-driven Sales Executive to strengthen our commercial team.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional with experience in precision engineering or subcontract manufacturing to drive new business and build long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within precision engineering and subcontract manufacturing
* Manage and grow existing customer accounts
* Handle enquiries, prepare quotations, and follow through to order completion
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
* Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events
* Maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
* Achieve sales targets and contribute to company growth
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
* Experience in sales within engineering, manufacturing, or subcontract machining
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Self-motivated, driven, and target-focused
Desirable:
* Knowledge of CNC machining, turning, or milling
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Existing contacts within the UK engineering sector
