The Nextech Summer Internship Program provides opportunity for those early in their career to encounter a breadth of experience in the fast-paced medical software industry. We have many departments looking to hire an intern this summer. Some include and are not limited to: Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Software Development, Marketing, Sales, and Product Management. The program is approximately 10-12 weeks long, starting June 2nd and continuing through August 7th. This is a paid internship. Interns may work up to 28 hours per week. Weekly schedules will be decided on depending on the manager and their department. Our Talent Acquisition team will be reviewing resumes periodically and will be reaching out for interviews in the coming weeks (please review selection process below). Job Summary
The Software Engineer Intern role is primarily devoted to assisting with the design and development of next generation software for the Nextech product suite under the direction of a senior member of the Software Engineer team. All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA, PCI and other regulations, as appropriate. Essential Functions
Assist with building software in a SCRUM environment using C#, SQL, and Angular Embrace best practices in software development (Code Reviews, Unit Tests, CI/CD) and leverage them every day Assist with performing mutual code reviews within your team to ensure high quality code Cooperate closely with the team, scrum masters, and product owners Carry out other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements
Knowledge of C#, Angular, and SQL Understands a full-stack approach to development Desire to gain experience with the development of robust, scalable micro-serviceback ends Desire to build zero-downtime deployments through coding innovation The ability to learn how to writeclean code, a love of unit testing, and the need to have yoursoftware to be usable from the very beginning Personal drive to work in a dynamic environment where you can develop your skills An appreciation for openand constructive dialog with your fellow team members Working Environment / Physical Demands
Remote Activities require a significant amount of sitting at office and work desks and in front of a computer monitor. Selection Process
Candidates will first complete a brief
