Job Overview As a Programmatic Media Buyer (PMB), your objective is to drive consistent and profitable growth for clients and the agency. You’ll develop and execute high-performing campaigns across channels, exceeding client performance goals. This role requires a balance of hands‑on programmatic expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills—both internally and externally with clients.
You’ll also contribute to building Oxford Road’s programmatic practice—shaping best practices, optimizing processes, and keeping us ahead of industry shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, build, execute, and optimize programmatic media campaigns across Audio, Display, Video, CTV, and emerging channels.
Manage buys across multiple demand‑side platforms (DSPs) such as The Trade Desk, Audiomatic, Viant, Amazon, DV360, and others.
Monitor campaign pacing, delivery, and performance against KPIs, proactively implementing optimizations.
Present media plans to account management, prospects, and clients as needed.
Communicate market conditions to account teams so they can best manage clients’ plans & expectations.
Conduct research, leverage performance data, and present programmatic insight results in a concise, professional, and client‑friendly manner.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (analytics, creative, client services) to align campaign strategy with client goals.
Evaluate new DSP integrations, third‑party data solutions, and other innovations to keep Oxford Road ahead of industry shifts.
Contribute to the development of scalable processes, documentation, and standards that reflect industry best practices.
Support team projects and client initiatives while also championing experimentation and innovation in programmatic media.
Qualifications
2+ years of hands‑on experience managing campaigns directly in multiple DSPs (The Trade Desk, DV360, Google Ads, etc.) or in paid social buying platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.).
Experience in audio programmatic platforms (e.g., Audiohook, AdsWizz, Audiomatic) strongly preferred.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable strategy.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, including pivot tables, v‑lookups, and data manipulation.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
Effective communicator and team collaborator who thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving abilities and the initiative to independently research and resolve challenges.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
