JOB DESCRIPTION The SpyGlass Ops team is looking for an experienced 360 Recruiter with a proven track record in full-cycle recruitment to own our client hiring process from end to end. This role combines recruitment with client relationship management — you'll build and run hiring funnels that place top operations leaders into growing businesses, then nurture those client relationships to drive long‑term engagement with us.
This is not a traditional recruiting role. You are not sourcing off a job board and hoping for the best. You are executing a proven, matchmaker‑style hiring process for a very specific niche — placing COOs, HOOs, DOOs, and Operations Managers into 7 and 8‑figure businesses going through real transformation. Every placement you make directly impacts whether a founder can step back and grow the business they actually want to build, or whether the business stalls. The application code word is matchmaker.
In addition to recruitment, this role will also be the primary account manager responsible for managing the client relationship to maximize client success and retention. They will be responsible for building high authority, trust, and respect with clients, and representing the team as professional experts and consultants. This role will be responsible for client upsells and expanding client lifetime value through new product and service offerings.
You will work closely with our Head of Product and alongside our fractional COO/inspector team who provide the strategic context for each hire, while you own the execution of finding and placing the right operator.
This is a full‑time, remote 1099 contractor position. We work primarily with North American companies and are based in North America. Therefore this role needs to be available during said hours.
WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE UNIQUE You are stepping into a role where the recruitment system is already built and proven — the hiring methodology, the asset templates, the candidate evaluation framework, the onboarding process. What we need is someone who can own and scale it.
Your day‑to‑day life will move between two worlds. On the recruitment side, you'll receive detailed role requirements from our fractional COOs who have done deep diagnostic work inside each client's business, and from there you own the entire hiring funnel — building the assets with our product team, sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, presenting finalists, and helping close offers. On the client success side, you'll manage the ongoing relationship with our clients, and ensure they continue to see value in partnering with SpyGlass beyond the initial placement, upselling them into ongoing services.
Your success will be measured by two key outcomes: placing the right operators into the right businesses consistently, and retaining clients who want to keep working with SpyGlass long‑term. You'll work with leadership to establish clear 30/60/90‑day milestones during your first quarter.

Relationship‑based sales – You enjoy the process of expanding client relationships over time and upselling them into new products and services when it is genuinely the right fit for the client’s highest success.

Comfort working with AI tools and leveraging technology to improve efficiency and output quality
Nice‑to‑Have Experience

You are fulfilled by the matchmaking element of recruitment — finding the right unique person for the right unique role genuinely excites you
You are comfortable in an outcome‑based environment where nobody tracks your hours or micromanages your inputs, but your results speak for themselves
You are a direct, honest communicator who can both give and receive candid feedback

Outcome‑based culture — we measure results, not hours
