About the Role This remote-work position reports directly to the Managing Director and is designed to systematically drive top line revenue growth from new relationships within our existing M&A channels as well as new markets.
Essential Functions & Primary Duties
Develop & Execute Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the senior leaders to create and implement effective sales strategies that stimulate additional demand for PEI subscriptions, data, products, and service offerings.
Sales Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities for new client growth.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the M&A and related services industries through regular conversations and attendance at M&A industry conferences.
Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth knowledge of our services and stay up-to-date with industry trends to effectively communicate our unique value proposition to clients.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with our product development, customer support, and marketing teams to ensure client satisfaction, to provide valuable feedback for product enhancements, and to suggest content for marketing initiatives.
Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records within HubSpot and provide weekly reports to senior management on sales activities, progress, and challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in B2B sales, preferably in M&A, finance, or information services.
Awareness of M&A, the players, and the M&Aprocess.
Ability to manage sales funnels and multiple priorities.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales.
High level of maturity and professionalism.
Polished demeanor and the ability to quickly build rapport with senior-level industry professionals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HubSpot.
