Employee Experience & Events Manager
We’re looking for an Employee Experience & Events Manager who will own the design and execution of experiences that help Pulley’s team feel connected, valued, and inspired. This role combines strategy and hands‑on execution: you will own the global employee experience roadmap – from onboarding to company‑wide events to everyday engagement programs. Responsibilities
Own the strategy and execution of company events and offsites (in person, virtual, hybrid), including logistics, vendor management, budgeting, travel, accommodations, programming, run‑of‑show, and post‑event feedback & metrics. Design and lead employee engagement initiatives (recognition programs, cultural rituals, connection opportunities) that scale across a remote‑first team. Collaborate with the People team to design, implement, and iterate on Pulley’s onboarding programs for new team members. Partner with senior leadership, People, Communications, and other stakeholders to ensure internal experiences align with company goals and culture. Build scalable systems, processes, and documentation around events, offsites, and onboarding (e.g., standard templates, checklists, tools) for operational excellence. Manage external partners and vendors (event planners, facilitators, venues, etc.) to deliver world‑class experiences. Measure and report on engagement metrics: event ROI, feedback surveys, and use data to evolve programs. Support internal communications around EX events and programs (pre‑event promotion, post‑event follow‑up, storytelling). Act as a culture champion, continuously innovating how to connect, engage, and celebrate across the company. Qualifications – Must‑Haves
3–6+ years of experience in employee experience, events, engagement, or similar roles, ideally in fast‑growing remote or hybrid environments. Demonstrated track record of planning and executing large offsites/events (100‑300+ people) and multi‑day offsites, as well as smaller engagement programs. Strong project management, logistics, vendor negotiation, and budget management skills. Comfort being highly hands‑on and tactical – equally at ease in strategic meetings and troubleshooting day‑to‑day logistics. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels. Comfort managing ambiguity and designing programs from scratch. Creative, resourceful, and passionate about building meaningful, memorable experiences for employees. Nice to Have
Experience with remote/hybrid/virtual event platforms and associated tools. Experience scaling onboarding programs and EX functions. Multimedia or creative skills (video, design, content) to help amplify events and engagement. Prior experience working in a fast‑scaling startup environment. Benefits
Competitive salary and equity Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Unlimited PTO + Winter holiday break Parental leave Generous stipends for WFH, learning, wellness, and AI tools 401(k) match (US) / Pension match (Canada) Annual Salary Range: $95,000—$135,000 USD — the final offer will depend on factors such as your experience, interview performance, level, and other considerations assessed during the hiring process.
