This position supports the calculation and administration of sales commissions in a fast-moving environment. The work involves managing large volumes of detailed information across multiple systems, entering and validating data, and applying complex commission guidelines that change over time. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to stay organized across many moving pieces, and comfort working independently to troubleshoot issues and learn new systems. Accuracy and consistency are critical.

Job Summary: We are seeking an intellectually curious and motivated Entry‑Level Commissions Analyst to join our Commissions team. This role provides a unique opportunity to develop a broad understanding of sales and finance processes while supporting our revenue and commission payout cycle. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is committed to growing their expertise across multiple aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, calculation, and processing of commissions for external agents and internal sales reps based on established structures.
Analyze sales and financial data to ensure accurate commission payouts, resolving discrepancies with precision and professionalism.
Collaborate with teams across sales and finance to gain a comprehensive understanding of commission workflows and their impact on overall business operations.
Communicate effectively with master agents, subagents, and internal teams to address commission‑related inquiries and provide clarity on calculations.
Maintain accurate records of commission structures, adjustments, and payments to support transparency and reporting.
Create reports and perform analyses to identify trends, improve accuracy, and support decision‑making processes.
Contribute to process improvements, identifying opportunities for efficiency and innovation within commission workflows.
Support audits and compliance reviews by providing accurate data and thorough documentation.
Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to learn complex concepts quickly.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUPs) and familiarity with other data analysis tools. Will train under the right circumstances.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities within an ever‑changing structure of commission rules and components.
Comfortable with the unknown, ability to reason.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an aptitude for clear and professional dialogue.
A proactive, curious mindset with a strong desire to learn and master new skills across sales and finance disciplines.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Previous experience in commissions, sales operations, or finance is a plus but not required.

Compensation The compensation range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 USD. The target hiring range for this role may vary based on geographic location and other factors, including merit or performance, demonstrated proficiency, skills for the role, education, travel requirements, and experience. The posted range reflects our ability to hire at different titles and levels depending on background and experience. The company reserves the right to offer additional compensation at its discretion, for example, in the form of a discretionary bonus or sales commission.
