The Role Ethena seeks a high‑agency People/HR Coordinator to serve as the central operational engine of our People team. You will ensure a seamless employee lifecycle while maintaining the absolute integrity of HR data, compliance, and internal support systems. Reporting directly to the Head of People & Talent, you will manage the technical and administrative verification layer of our people operations, proactively surfacing risks or inefficiencies before they become issues. A security‑first approach to data and a customer‑service mindset toward our team are essential.
What You’ll Do
Execute end‑to‑end onboarding for all new hires, ensuring 100% of equipment, accounts, background checks, and documentation are completed before day one.
Manage the tracking of all HR reviews, probation, bi‑annual performance, career progression, and compensation reviews.
Build and maintain a comprehensive "HR Operations Playbook" that documents every recurring SOP, from leave‑of‑absence tracking to termination checklists.
Own the HRIS (we use Deel) as the canonical source of truth, conducting full audits to ensure 100% accuracy of employee records, compensation data, and org charts with a regular validation cadence.
Manage day‑to‑day enrollment and termination of all team benefit plans, responding to employee inquiries in a timely manner.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to collate information for scorecards & JDs, manage complex interview scheduling, and facilitate the transition from offer letter to onboarding.
Generate quarterly reports on headcount, turnover, and time off to provide leadership with actionable data.
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in a lean HR function for a small to medium‑sized organization.
Obsessive attention to detail, ensuring everything is error‑free even in a high‑output environment.
High fluency in HRIS, Performance Management, and ATS tooling (Deel, BambooHR, Greenhouse, Lever, Leapsom, PERK) with the ability to automate repetitive tasks and pull custom reports.
A proven track record of identifying friction in the employee lifecycle and proposing innovative fixes without being asked.
Strong ability to translate complex policies into simple language while handling sensitive health and disciplinary data with absolute confidentiality.
Foundational knowledge of employment laws in at least one region, with the ability to identify legal risks for escalation.
Experience remaining effective during rapid organisational changes and balancing long‑term projects against daily HR support.
$40,000 - $60,000 a year
