The Opportunity We are seeking experienced Freight Brokers / Logistics Sales Executives
for 1099 independent contractor roles only
who bring an established book of business and are looking for a supportive, high-performance environment to grow their portfolio. Compensation We offer an aggressive
commission-based structure
with high splits for top producers. Alternative comp models (including draws or hybrid structures) may be considered for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Account Management
Maintain and grow an active book of business with existing shippers and carriers.
Prospect, qualify, and onboard new customers to expand revenue opportunities.
Build long‑term relationships through consistent communication, problem‑solving, and service excellence.
Negotiate rates and contracts with shippers and carriers to maximize profitability.
Operations & Load Management
Manage the full cradle‑to‑grave cycle: quoting, booking, dispatching, tracking, and delivery confirmation.
Source and secure reliable carrier capacity for customer freight needs.
Monitor shipments proactively, resolve issues, and provide real‑time updates to customers.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company and industry standards.
Maintain accurate load records, rate confirmations, and billing documentation.
Track performance metrics and contribute to revenue and margin goals.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a freight broker or logistics account manager.
Active, portable book of business with established shipper relationships.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
Proficiency with TMS platforms, load boards, and standard office software.
Preferred Traits
Entrepreneurial drive and a self‑starter mentality.
High level of accountability and ownership over results.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
