Job Summary This role requires a Nurse Practitioner working in General Surgery with at least 20 hours of direct patient care per month, reviewing medical files and providing expert opinions.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 20 hours of direct patient care per month.
3 years’ experience in the appropriate specialty post training.
Must not be a VA employee, active-duty military, or provide care in military facilities.
Must currently be working in General Surgery for at least 20 hours per month.
Pay Rate $100 per case to $200 per case (30 minutes to 1 hour+ to complete).
Responsibilities Review medical records and provide independent medical expert opinions. No liability for diagnosing or seeing patients; review and consult only.
Coverage and Liability You will be under Maximus’s coverage so within these reviews you are not liable for anything. You are not diagnosing or seeing any patients; you are merely reviewing a file and providing your medical expert opinion.
