Responsibilities
Formulates/defines specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modifies/maintains complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer.
Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs.
Provides overall operating system maintenance, including sophisticated file maintenance routines, large telecommunications networks, computer accounting, and advanced mathematical/scientific software packages.
Assists all phases of software systems programming applications.
Evaluates new and existing software products.
Work Environment
Location: Remote with periodic support at Fort Belvoir or other places in the National Capitol Region.
Type of environment: Remote
Noise level: Low
Work schedule: Schedule is day shift Monday – Friday. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
