Overview: Seeking an
Analog Power Design Engineer
to support the development of
high-voltage power systems and undersea communication electronics . This role focuses on power electronics design, circuit analysis, system integration, and testing within advanced defense programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop
analog and power electronics systems
Support
requirements analysis, system integration, and verification
Design
high-voltage DC power systems and converters (W to kW range)
Perform
circuit design, analysis, and troubleshooting
Develop
power system architectures, grounding strategies, and control systems
Conduct testing using
oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and lab equipment
Support
technical reviews, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Create and maintain
specifications, requirements, and verification procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and program leadership
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
or related field
5+ years of relevant experience
(or Master’s with 3+ years)
Strong experience in
analog circuit design and power electronics
Experience with
mixed-signal design and circuit analysis tools
Knowledge of
feedback/control systems and power system architecture
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with
electronic test equipment and lab validation
Preferred Skills:
Experience with
high-voltage DC (HVDC) systems and power transmission
Experience designing
power converters (low to high power ranges)
Background in
undersea systems, defense, or ruggedized electronics
Experience in
R&D and advanced electronics development
Strong communication and technical leadership capabilities
