Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is now available for a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to work with students for the upcoming school year. In this position, you will collaborate with educators and families to deliver assessments, create individualized therapy plans, and help children reach their fullest potential. Qualifications:Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English preferred) Previous experience in a K-12 school environment is an asset Ability to complete background checks and fingerprinting as part of the credentialing process Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfort working with diverse student populations and adapting services as needed
Responsibilities:Provide speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy to assigned caseload Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy approaches as necessary Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to implement effective intervention strategies Travel between school sites (number of campuses and caseload to be determined) Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
As a full-time contract professional, you’ll follow the school calendar, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The contract begins in early August and runs through late May, making this the perfect academic-year assignment for a dedicated SLP.
