Senior Accountant

Our client provides a market-leading learning platform dedicated to accelerating the capabilities of today’s tech workforce. They are looking to bring on a Senior Financial Accountant to join their Dublin team to support their month end close process and other critical aspects of the accounting calendar.

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong technical foundation and exceptional attention to detail. This role plays a key part in supporting the month-end close process and broader accounting operations within a dynamic, high-performing finance team.

• Manage month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, maintenance of sub-ledgers, and general ledger reconciliations
• Maintain a detailed understanding of various European payrolls
• Review revenue transactions and contracts to ensure accurate revenue recognition
• Support the implementation of new financial systems and processes
• Calculate and review royalty payments to ensure accuracy
• Assist with financial statement audits
• Perform ad hoc financial and operational analysis as required

• Strong accounting fundamentals with a keen eye for detail
• Proactive communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration xcfaprz and continuous improvement
• Open to learning, adapting, and contributing ideas

• ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualification preferred
• Experience within a US multinational environment is advantageous
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience (or 3+ years with an advanced degree)
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and European GAAP
• Knowledge of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606 preferred)
