The Role
Mason Technology is seeking to recruit an
Analytical Field Service Engineer
for our Shimadzu Service Team based in the Munster region on a full-time permanent contract.
This role will involve working as part of Shimadzu Technical Support Team with overall responsibility for the testing, repair, and calibration of Shimadzu & Biotek instrumentation products and modules to maintain functionality and accuracy.
The position is Munster based with a requirement to travel countrywide when necessary.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Commissioning, repair and installation of Shimadzu and BioTek equipment
Service and Validation
Preventative Maintenance and Breakdown Cover
Integral member of the Service Team
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required
A recognised course completed in electrical/instrumentation/mechanical engineering.
Previous experience of Chromatography, Spectrophotometry, Atomic Absorption and TOC an advantage.
Previous experience in a similar technical role is essential.
Experience of working within Quality systems such as ISO, INAB etc
Experience of working within Regulatory systems such as FDA, EUP, UKP, HPRA etc.
Strong technical knowledge of analytical instrumentation.
Ability to fault find and repair laboratory equipment.
A good knowledge of related industry products and tools.
Full clean driving licence is essential. xcfaprz
Travel is a key element of the role and overnight stays are required.
