Senior Accounting Manager

This is a leadership position offering strong autonomy, where you will oversee technical delivery, support team development, and play a key role in driving client and practice growth. You will take ownership of a portfolio of clients generating in excess of €500k in annual fees, while leading and developing a team of 5 staff.

This client has a diverse portfolio of ambitious SME clients, and is entering an exciting phase of expansion. • Approve and review statutory financial statements and tax submissions
• Oversee compliance across corporation tax, income tax, and VAT obligations
• Uphold and continuously improve technical quality and best practices across the firm
• Oversee team workload, ensuring deadlines and priorities are effectively managed
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5, fostering a high-performance culture
• Support continuous learning, training, and professional development initiatives

• Take ownership of a significant client portfolio as the primary relationship lead
• Build strong, trusted partnerships with clients
• Identify opportunities for advisory services and tax optimisation
• Contribute to pricing strategies, proposals, and commercial decision‑making
• Support ongoing improvements in processes, systems, and scalability

• Exam qualified accountant
• Relevant experience in an Irish accountancy practice
• Strong background in accounts and tax review
• Experience with CT, IT, and VAT matters xcfaprz
• Experience managing teams and client portfolios
