We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient education.
*Duties*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
* Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and identifying potential oral health issues.
* Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
* Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling, patient records management, and documentation review.
*Skills*
* Strong knowledge of infection control practices in a dental setting.
* Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and provide appropriate care recommendations.
* Experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required.
* Competence in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
* Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and compliance.
* Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
* Solid knowledge of dental anatomy to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
* Attention to detail in documentation review and record keeping.

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

Schedule:
* 6 hour shifts
* Shifts Vary. Majority of mornings with an occasional afternoon/evening
* Weeks alternate. Week one 4 days . Week two five days. Week three 5 days.

Expected hours: 24.0 – 30.0 per week
