Job Summary:
Join our busy logistics hub in Kansas City, Missouri, as an Inventory Clerk. This vital role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be instrumental in tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, and ensuring that our inventory management system is up-to-date. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Receive, count, and verify incoming inventory.
  • Document and report inventory adjustments.
  • Maintain organized and accurate inventory records within our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of all inventory items.
  • Assist with put-away and stock rotation.
  • Implement and adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
  • Support logistics and shipping departments by providing accurate inventory data.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and scanning equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory principles.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and following all guidelines.
  • Must be reliable and able to work flexible hours if needed.
