Are you a dynamic and inspirational leader looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We invite you to become a part of our dedicated team at Bayview, located in the beautiful Capernwray, Carnforth. Here, you’ll work in a family-oriented environment, supporting a maximum of four young residents aged 8-18 who face social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
About the RoleAs a Residential Home Team Leader , you will play a crucial role in guiding our young residents towards success. You will:
- Assist the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the daily operations of the home.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and positive environment for all children and young adults.
- Support the continuous improvement of our 'Outstanding' rated service.
- Step in for the Registered Manager when they are not present.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet pre-agreed standards.
- Maintain compliance with legal requirements and Ofsted standards.
- Foster an open, positive, and inclusive atmosphere for both staff and residents.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including budgeting and food quality.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure staff adhere to health and safety policies.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A full UK driving license.
- Your Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People.
- A passion for supporting young people and a commitment to our ethos.
This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. You will be compensated with a basic salary of £27,803.20 , with the potential to earn up to £34,523.20 through sleep-in shifts.
