We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This position is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which is fundamental to our logistics and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing inventory records, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a thorough understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS). You will collaborate with various departments to optimize stock levels and minimize losses. A commitment to safety, including the proper use of PPE, is expected in this role.   • Maintain accurate inventory records within the WMS.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend adjustments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce waste.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation and storage methods are followed.
  • Collaborate with procurement and operations teams.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory control within a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Proficiency in using WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of supply chain and logistics principles.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Commitment to workplace safety.
