As a
Mobile Computer Repair Technician , you will play a crucial role in performing hardware repairs and installations on both laptops and desktops. Your hands-on experience will greatly contribute to your success in this position. Job Details: This position operates under a 1099/per call structure. Payment is based on the number of completed calls. Compensation starts at $35 per call, with potential increases depending on travel distance. Payments are processed every Friday after your initial week of work. Work schedule: Calls are generally attended Monday-Friday during daytime hours, with a requirement of availability for at least 3 weekdays. Expect a variable call volume, typically 1-2 calls per day. Onboarding includes free online certification courses from Dell and Lenovo to enhance your skills. A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license are essential, as you will travel to various job sites. Access to a computer and the internet is necessary for logging into your daily work portal. You will need to check in to your tech portal by 9 am each workday to code your calls and plan your daily route. Troubleshooting will be managed by the manufacturer, and parts will be shipped prior to ticket assignments. Confirm service times directly with customers using your tech portal; services will be performed at customer locations, encompassing both residential and commercial sites. You are required to collect parts daily from designated FedEx or UPS locations for your territory before visiting job sites. After completing calls, you'll return old parts using provided pre-paid labels. Qualifications Hands-on experience in replacing components in laptops and desktops is mandatory. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Comfort with daily local travel is essential.
