Senior Service Design Engineer
Location: Medina, NY (On-site required; flexible onsite days)
Pay Range: $57-$60 per hour
What's the Job?
Design and develop service deliverables and infrastructure to support new and existing medical device products throughout their lifecycle. Collaborate with design teams to select, develop, and implement technologies across various development programs. Support product platform releases by creating and updating service manuals, training materials, and test equipment. Evaluate design for serviceability and recommend improvements to enhance product reliability and ease of maintenance. Analyze servicing metrics to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and quality enhancement. What's Needed?
Experience with electro-mechanical device design or servicing in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices. Strong understanding of change control methodologies and configuration management principles. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and handle ambiguity effectively. Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and document technical information clearly. Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, software, systems, or manufacturing/process engineering with 3-5 years of relevant experience. What's in it for me?
