LEADER (Rural Development) Project Officer

South Tipperary Development CLG (STDC) is recruiting a LEADER Project Officer to join our team and support community-led local development across South Tipperary.

The LEADER Programme funds projects that make a real difference to rural communities. In this role, you’ll work closely with local groups, individuals and businesses – helping turn ideas into funded projects that support:

• 
  
• Economic development
  
• Rural infrastructure and social inclusion
  
• Environmental sustainability and climate action
  

What the role involves:

• 
  
• Supporting projects from first idea through to completion
  
• Guiding applicants through the LEADER grant process
  
• Working directly with communities and enterprises including social enterprises
  
• Managing applications, project files and grant claims
  
• Monitoring project outcomes and ensuring programme compliance
  
• Supporting communications, events and partnership working
  
• Working as part of a supportive, experienced LEADER team
