In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. You will use handheld scanners and follow pick lists to locate items, ensuring the correct quantity and product type are selected. This position requires a good understanding of warehouse layouts and a commitment to accuracy. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. We emphasize a strong commitment to safety, and all team members are required to wear appropriate PPE and follow strict safety guidelines. This role involves significant physical activity, including walking, bending, reaching, and frequent lifting. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Training on our warehouse management system and specific picking techniques will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders using a handheld scanner and pick lists.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and descriptions for accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Must be comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient team environment.
