Salesforce Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to serve as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Salesforce platforms, strong analytical and communication skills, and a proven track record of translating complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. This role plays a critical part in optimizing business processes, improving system adoption, and driving data-driven decision‑making.

Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid)

• Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and Salesforce technical teams.
  
• Elicit, analyse, document and validate business requirements using interviews, workshops and process reviews.
  
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria and process flows.
  
• Partner with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Architects and QA teams to design and deliver solutions.
  
• Configure and support Salesforce features such as objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, reports, dashboards and flows (as applicable).
  
• Support Salesforce implementations, enhancements and integrations with external systems.
  
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements aligned with Salesforce best practices.
  
• Manage backlog grooming, sprint planning and UAT coordination in Agile or hybrid environments.
  
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case creation, execution and defect tracking.
  
• Support production releases, post‑deployment validation and ongoing system optimization.
  
• Create and maintain documentation including business process maps, functional design documents and training materials.
  
• Serve as a trusted advisor by proactively identifying risks, dependencies and opportunities for improvement.
  
• Ensure solutions align with data governance, security and compliance standards.
  

• 
  
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst with a strong focus on Salesforce.
  
• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce platforms such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud or Marketing Cloud.
  
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model and declarative capabilities.
  
• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
  
• Experience working and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
  
• Experience supporting UAT and production releases.
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
  

• 
  
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Business Analyst, Sales Cloud Consultant).
  
• Experience with Salesforce integrations (APIs, middleware tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.).
  
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and release management processes.
  
• Background in data analytics, reporting or CRM strategy.
  
• Experience mentoring junior analysts or leading small project teams.
