Construction Project Manager (Residential)

Job Description

With over 25 years remaining a premiere customer home builder and remodeling company, we are looking to add to our team! We are searching for a Project Manager to oversee and manage new home builds and detailed refurbishments. While reporting to the founders, this position covers all areas of project management including project planning, budget management, time management, and quality assurance for each and every project.

Essential Duties will include:

• Work with clients to manage the design of their "dream home" or customer remodel.
• Oversee the architectural design and build from start to finish ensuring that all projects are completed within budget, on time and perfect.
• Manage budget, track expenses; make changes to project scope, schedule and costs if appropriate.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in interior construction projects (remodels) and/or new home builds from start to finish.
• Proven experience working directly with clients; provide excellent communication both verbally and written.
• Ability to read blue prints - experience working with architectural firm a plus.
• Solid working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
• Able to work in a small office environment - traveling to job site(s) are minimal.
• Able to remain professional and able to provide excellent customer service to all levels of customers

Note: This job is not for a construction superintendent that enjoys being in the field because this is an in-office job. Being creative adds value to this job; females urged to apply! This can start out as a part time position (20+ hours/week) and can move into full time.
