General Qualifications: Ability to develop and implement machine learning systems in real-world production settings. Experience at leading tech companies, Tier 1 VC-backed startups, prestigious research institutions, or high-performing engineering teams. Strong foundation in machine learning fundamentals, including model creation, optimization, and performance evaluation. Hands-on expertise in at least one specialization area:
Large Language Models & Generative AI Computer Vision NLP / NLU Reinforcement Learning Recommendation Systems Time Series & Forecasting Applied Deep Learning
Familiarity with modern machine learning engineering practices, including:
MLOps workflows Model monitoring and observability Cloud or edge deployment strategies Vector databases and embeddings Retrieval-augmented systems
Experience in distributed computing, data infrastructure, or high-performance computing is highly desirable. We also welcome those focused on

security-oriented ML . Strong programming skills (preferably in Python) and familiarity with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, LangChain, Ray, etc. Experience mentoring engineers, leading technical projects, or fostering collaboration across teams is valued.
