We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to uphold the accuracy and efficiency of our warehouse stock. Your primary responsibilities will include performing precise cycle counts, conducting thorough physical inventories, and diligently investigating any stock discrepancies to maintain optimal inventory levels. This role requires a sharp analytical mind, exceptional organizational capabilities, and a solid grasp of warehouse management systems and general logistics practices. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts of inventory items.
- Reconcile physical inventory counts with system data.
- Identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update system information.
- Assist in developing and improving inventory control procedures.
- Monitor inventory accuracy rates and report findings.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of inventory to prevent loss or damage.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related logistics field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to perform occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
