BORDER PATROL AGENT JOB SUMMARY:

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws while inspecting documents, possessions, and other personal items.
• Prevent unauthorized entry at illegal points via surveillance using infrared scopes during nighttime operations utilizing vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles.
• Analyze tracks marks and other physical evidence left behind after someone crossed the border illegally into the country.

• Demonstrated ability to detect deception
• Familiarity with legal terminology related to immigration
