Border Security Specialist - Experienced Job

You will be part of a team working to safeguard our borders and protect the nation by deterring illicit activity and enhancing economic prosperity.

The role involves performing a variety of duties, including detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations, preventing and apprehending aliens at or near the borders, interpreting tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry.

As a Border Patrol Agent you will be expected to work independently in challenging environments using various forms of technology such as surveillance systems, detection devices situation awareness systems communication equipment among others. You must have excellent judgment skills making sound decisions under pressure dealing with people effectively analyzing information rapidly responding appropriately maintaining relationships networks informants etc.
