Job Summary:
We are hiring a skilled Reach Truck Operator for our busy warehouse in St. Louis, Missouri. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count inventory. Your expertise in operating this specialized equipment is vital for optimizing our warehouse space and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our logistics network. This position requires precision, a strong commitment to Safety, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting overall warehouse productivity. Primary duties include:
  • Operating a reach truck to pick, palletize, and move products at various heights.
  • Safely maneuvering around the warehouse, avoiding obstructions and ensuring product integrity.
  • Stocking and retrieving inventory from racking systems.
  • Assisting with inventory counts and audits.
  • Performing daily pre-operational checks on the reach truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhering strictly to all Safety regulations, company policies, and operating procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Handling occasional tasks involving Lifting or other warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Valid certification or proven experience operating a reach truck. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment. Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices and procedures. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. Must be at least 18 years old. A commitment to operational excellence and team collaboration is essential for success in this logistics role.
