Job Summary:
Our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma facility is looking for a meticulous and organized Shipping Clerk to manage the outgoing flow of our products. This role is integral to our logistics network, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. You will be responsible for preparing shipping documentation, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring that packages meet all outbound requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong communication skills, and is committed to maintaining high standards of operational excellence and safety .
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process all outbound shipping documentation, including bills of lading and manifests.
  • Verify shipping information and customer addresses for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS, LTL freight) to schedule pickups and track shipments.
  • Inspect outgoing packages for proper packaging, labeling, and weight.
  • Operate shipping software and equipment, such as scales and printers.
  • Maintain an organized shipping area, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, carriers, and customer service.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
  • Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
  • Be prepared for tasks that may involve lifting packages up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related administrative role preferred.
  • Proficiency in shipping software and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
