I am seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong parametric CAD expertise to develop Phase 1 architecture for a wearable mechanical prototype.
This is not a drafting task. This requires structured parametric modeling with scalable logic and multi-zone control.
The device involves independently adjustable stiffness regions, flexible-to-rigid material transitions, and modular export for additive manufacturing.
The goal of Phase 1 is to establish a clean, well-structured parametric framework that allows:
• Independent zone control
• Adjustable geometry along multiple axes
• Controlled rigidity gradients
• Modular export for iterative 3D printing
This project will evolve into multiple development phases. Phase 1 focuses strictly on architecture and prototype-ready modeling.

Required Experience
• Advanced parametric modeling (Fusion 360 or SolidWorks)
• Multi-body mechanical design
• Experience designing for additive manufacturing
• Experience with flexible/rigid material transitions (TPU or similar preferred)
• Ability to build scalable, clean CAD architecture

Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
