About the Team
The Membership Proposition Team leads the strategy, delivery and management of the Membership product.
From creating a compelling vision, research and insights to operational execution and excellence, the team drives the design, management, continual improvement, execution and maturity across the business to deliver on objectives.
The Membership Proposition team is responsible for bringing the Membership Value Proposition, 'Keeping members at the forefront of effective contemporary governance' to fruition for all members including regional and international members.
We are now seeking a Membership/Customer Insights Manager — a strategic thinker, data storyteller and insights champion — to help shape the future of our membership products, services, and experiences. This is a unique opportunity to influence national impact and support our mission to be the independent and trusted voice of governance.
About the Role
As the Member/Customer Insights Manager, you will be the engine behind our membership insights and market intelligence. You will analyse internal and external data, uncover market trends, and translate complex information into strategic recommendations that elevate our membership value proposition.
Your work will directly influence product development, pricing, experience design, and long‑term growth strategies — ensuring we continue to lead globally in governance capability.
In this role, you will:
- Analyse market trends, member behaviours, and competitor offerings to identify new growth opportunities.
- Lead forecasting for membership products, pricing, and market performance.
- Provide insights that shape our membership product strategy, annual reviews and go‑to‑market decisions.
- Run our Insights to Action forum, bringing cross‑functional teams together to identify trends and develop tactical solutions.
- Partner with customer‑facing teams to strengthen our NPS and CSAT programs.
- Collaborate with Product, Data & Analytics, Finance, Operations and AI teams to validate ideas, run experiments and drive execution.
- Develop best‑practice metrics, scorecards and dashboards that support data‑driven product management.
- Act as the key liaison with the Data & Analytics team for the Membership Proposition function.
Skills And Experiences
About you
You will have strong technical aptitude and previous relevant experience, and you will champion the AICD values of: Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Collaboration. In addition, you will also have the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in data analytics, research, business analytics, marketing or related discipline — or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated analytical, technical and commercial acumen.
- Strong ability to interpret data from multiple sources and deliver meaningful recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Experience with Customer Feedback Management Platforms (highly regarded).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strength in presenting insights with clarity and impact.
- Project management capability and comfort navigating ambiguous or complex environments.
- Exposure to agile ways of working.
