• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.
• Preventing and apprehending aliens at or near borders through surveillance operations.
• Interpreting tracks, marks, and other physical evidence to identify illegal entry points.
• Maintaining public trust by dealing effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

To qualify for this position, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GL-9 grade level in duties such as performing searches for contraband,
apprehending violators using complex technology like surveillance systems,
or leading investigations into fraud. As a state,federal,military law enforcement official,you should demonstrate:  sound judgment when arresting suspects,
a courteous demeanor while interacting with the public,and effective problem-solving skills under pressure.
