Richmond Hill Academy is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Operations Manager to lead our Administration and HR functions. This is a pivotal role at the heart of the academy, ensuring our daily operations run smoothly and that staff, pupils and visitors receive exceptional support. As a key member of our support team, you will lead a busy administration department, oversee HR processes, and work closely with senior leaders to deliver high‑quality services across the academy. We are looking for an organised, proactive and solutions‑focused professional who enjoys variety, responsibility and teamwork.
We Are Looking For Someone Who Can
Provide confident and effective leadership within a busy office environment.
Deliver high quality administrative systems and processes.
Communicate professionally with staff, parents, visitors and external partners.
Manage key HR activities such as recruitment, onboarding, payroll changes and absence management (training and support provided).
Prioritise competing demands while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Take initiative, solve problems and help drive continuous improvement.
Experience & Skills
We welcome applicants who can demonstrate:
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Experience leading or coordinating staff or teams.
Confidence working with HR or administrative systems (training available).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A commitment to high standards, confidentiality and professionalism.
Relevant qualifications (such as level 3 CIPD or business administration) are beneficial, but we are equally keen to hear from candidates with strong experience and the right mindset.
