Border Patrol Agent Role Summary:

The primary objective of this position is to detect and prevent unauthorized entries into the country while upholding law enforcement standards.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws;
• Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations;

Serving as a deterrent to potential violators by maintaining visibility along international borders; investigating cases involving illegal entry, fraud, contraband criminal activity threats nation wide;
Holding strong observational skills for surveillance work.
